Yin Yoga Teacher Training: The Bones & The Breath
Description: This training focuses on the incredibly therapeutic benefits of yin yoga on the physical and energetic bodies (the Annamaya and Pranamaya Koshas). We investigate the foundational shapes of yin yoga, applying the method of ‘inside out alignment’ to the reality of anatomical uniqueness, teaching participants how to modify the shapes to benefit their own skeleton and providing tools to effectively teach these concepts to future students. Next we layer on the concept of Meridians (energetic pathways), elucidating: where they are, which organs they correspond to, which are yin and which are yang, and how to influence them with yin yoga. Our exploration of the esoteric Meridians intersects with the study of tangible fascia which culminates in the revelation of mind-blowing and intuition-validating theories. The training is sprinkled with other tenets of yogic philosophy, such as nadis, gunas, kleshas, some of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, etc., to enrich participants’ understanding and provide context for the material.
Included in the training are daily yin yoga practices, and opportunities to work in partners and small groups for practical experience applying the information. You will viscerally integrate the information so that, upon completion, you feel confident teaching yin yoga and fielding students’ questions with true clarity. Topics to be addressed:
Theory of Yin/Yang/Tao and how these concepts are embedded in the practice, and are vastly illuminating in a quest for balance
Tension and Compression, two of yoga’s primary stressors
Anatomy & Physiology: Bones, Muscles, Fascia and Organs
Anatomical Uniqueness and “Inside-Out Alignment”
Contraindications, and tailoring the practice to different populations.

This training is open to yoga teachers of all traditions as well as curious and dedicated yin yoga students. Participants will receive a certificate of completion which can be applied as “Continuing Education Units” (CEU’s) for Registered Yoga Teachers.

Surrender + Sound : A Full Moon Flow
Come celebrate the final full moon of the year! The December full moon in Cancer offers a special opportunity for closure and renewal. The full moon is a natural time to pause, reflect on what you've accomplished and experienced, and let go of anything that no longer serves you. This is a great time to release and let go of the past year. Join us for a slow flow that will help you do just that. We'll spend the last 30 minutes in class making space for what is to come with a beautiful sound bath and healing.

Friday Fun Flow
Join Carly on select Fridays each month and let yoga help you transition into the weekend with a light-spirited flow that gets you moving, breathing, and finding sweet rest at the end of your week. This one-hour flow will have elements of vinyasa movement, pranayama, and meditation. Some yoga experience is recommended, although modifications are offered.
Intentions + Tarot - A New Moon Flow
Welcome to December! The fiery Sagittarius new moon is here, and we invite you to join us in community to celebrate it. We will begin with 30 minutes of mindful movement, designed to connect you with your breath and body. After our movement practice, we will gather for a short meditation. We will then journal together, using prompts that are designed to help us reflect on the past year and set intentions for the year to come. Finally, we will receive personal tarot or oracle card messages while sipping on a hand-crafted herbal tea blend. We hope you will join us for this special event.

In these four workshops, you will be guided through breathwork and meditation practices that may cultivate calmness, healing and clarity in our minds and hearts. Summer Solstice Celebration @ Field & Flock Lavender Farm
Celebrate the change of the season and the vitality of the life giving sun in community! June 20th marks the longest day of the year and the first official day of the summer season. This year, we’re taking this auspicious celebration outdoors to the beautiful Field & Flock Lavender farm in Woodstown, NJ. We’ll begin with an all levels yoga class in the peaceful lavender fields, complete with an extended guided relaxation in sivasana. After ‘class’ we’ll each make our own bundles from the abundant lavender on the farm and additional herbs from our own personal gardens. Jen Huntsberger is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master, Sound Healer and founder of Awaken & Align LLC. Her training is comprised of Traditional Usui Reiki 1 & 2 Certifications, Usui & Tibetan Reiki Master Certification, Holistic Health Coaching Certification, and Meditation Teacher Certification. She is a certified practitioner of sacred sound healing, and has received her certification in leading Yoga Nidra as well as Gong Yoga Nidra.

Total Eclipse of the Tarot: The Sun, Moon, and Your Shadow
A total solar eclipse — when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun (also known as totality) — is set to cross North America, Canada, and Mexico on April 8. Join us for this tarot workshop the Saturday beforehand to prepare for this mind-bending celestial event.
In this workshop, we'll talk about the spiritual significance of totality and delve back into history for how totality was received and perceived across cultures (some still to this day).
There will be a brief Tarot 101 breakdown before we explore the meanings of the Sun and Moon cards — bringing in those energies — before deciphering personal Sun and Moon cards corresponding with your personal astrological birth chart.
