Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation known as "yogic sleep". Katherine will guide you to move into a deep state of conscious awareness. This practice will allow you to connect with the healing truth within by taking you to a state of harmonious restful being. Anyone can practice Yoga Nidra, but it has immense appeal for those who struggle to let go. It is also useful for those suffering from sleep deprivation, trauma, anxiety or depression (to any degree). This class is for all levels and experiences; it begins by releasing tension through a few different postures followed by laying down to receive guidance in relaxation.

A little bit about our special guest teacher: Katherine’s interest for health and wellness started when she received an acupuncture and reiki treatment (almost 20 years ago) that helped her body heal better than any prescription. Since then she found yoga to be just as therapeutic for her body as it was for her mind, and in 2018 she became a certified yoga teacher. Katherine is also a certified personal trainer and reiki practitioner. She truly loves helping people and being an integral part of their healing process. When she is not on her mat, you can find her spending time with her two children, kayaking, gardening and exploring nature.
